Product Returns Policy

At RestingRoo, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products. Due to the specialized nature and short usable lifespan of our product, our returns policy is designed to ensure customers receive a quality, undamaged product while preventing misuse of product returns. We are a small independent company and are not rich like the big names you may be used to. If we are lucky enough to become rich, we will implement a much more flexible return policy. In the meantime, read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Eligibility for Return

A product is eligible for return only under the following strict conditions:

  • Defect or Damage: Returns are accepted for products that are demonstrably defective due to manufacturing error or sustained damage during the original shipment to you.

  • Immediate Notification: You must notify us of any defect or damage within 7 days of the delivery date as confirmed by the shipping carrier. Claims made after this period will not be honored.

  • Unused Condition: Any signs of use, alteration, or damage not related to a manufacturing defect or shipping damage will void the return eligibility.

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase (e.g., order number, receipt) is required for all returns.

2. Non-Eligible Returns

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Products where notification of defect or damage is made outside the specified 7 day window.

  • Products that show any signs of use.

  • Products returned without prior authorization from our customer service team.

  • Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, accident, or unauthorized repair attempts by the customer.

  • Products that "did not meet your expectations" or for which you have "changed your mind." Our policy strictly covers manufacturing defects or shipping damage only.

3. Return Process

Given the difficulty in shipping our product, we've implemented a clear process to streamline returns for eligible items:

  1. Initiate Contact: If you believe your product is defective or was damaged in transit, you must contact our customer support team immediately at store@restingroo.com within the 7 day window from delivery.

  2. Provide Evidence: You will be required to provide clear photographic or video evidence of the alleged defect or damage. Ensure to provide pictures of the packaging in addition to the product. This evidence is crucial for us to assess your claim without requiring immediate physical return.

  3. Authorization: Our team will review your evidence. If your claim appears valid and the product is deemed eligible for return, we will issue a Return Authorization number and provide a pre-paid shipping label. Do not send the product back without a Return Authorization number! Unsolicited returns will not be accepted or refunded.

  4. Packaging for Return: Carefully pack the product in its sufficient packaging to prevent any further damage during transit. Affix the provided pre-paid shipping label.

  5. Shipment: Drop off the package at the designated shipping carrier location within 3 business days of receiving your Return Authorization and shipping label.

4. Inspection and Resolution

Upon receipt of the returned product:

  • Thorough Inspection: All returned products will undergo an inspection by our quality control team. This inspection will verify the reported defect or damage and confirm that the product meets the return eligibility criteria.

  • Replacement Decision:

    • If the product is confirmed to be defective or damaged as claimed and meets all eligibility criteria, a replacement will be sent within 7 business days.

    • No Refunds: We do not offer direct refunds. This policy is in place to prevent refund policy misuse associated with the specialized, short-term nature of our product. If a return is approved, a replacement will be issued.

    • No Keep/No Return for Non-Defective Items: If, upon inspection, the product is found not to be defective or damaged, or if it shows signs of use, alteration, or does not meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 1, no replacement will be issued,  and the product will be returned to you at your expense of a $35 dollar repackaging & shipping fee.

5. Policy Updates

RestingRoo reserves the right to modify this returns policy at any time without prior notice. The policy published on our website at the time of your purchase will apply to your order.
